Kipchumba Murkomen recalls his memories back at the University of Nairobi. The Elgeyo Marakwet senator describes campus life as a journey for the fittest.
“Before i joined The University of Nairobi Christian union, i was a lost sheep that hovered in the city anyhow” the senator explains. The Elgeyo Marakwet Senator urges parents and members of the clergy to educate the young generation on the importance of being morally upright.
“During my Egypt days,i realized that city girls are endangering the lives of many young men.I never laid a virgin during the sinful days” Murkomen said in a statement.
The majority leader in the senate has blamed the management of various universities in the countries for the steady rise in cases of immortality amongst students.
“If only VCs were competent enough, cases of girls parting with their virginity at a sorry age would cease” Murkomen added.
“When we were admitted at the university, our halls of residence had boxes of condoms at every entrance. That was uncalled for as it only encouraged the energetic souls to indulge in fornication” he quipped.
Murkomen has promised to consult religious leaders in the country in an effort to shape the society.
